Have you ever thought about what it means to be a Christian? To be a Christian is really quite simple. To be a Christian means, first, that we come to Jesus to receive healing. None of us is the person we should be. We’ve all sinned; we’ve all done things we shouldn’t; we’ve all fallen short of all that God intended us to be. But when we recognize this and come to Christ with all of our sin, with all of our emotional baggage, Christ offers us forgiveness; He offers us healing.

And, then, once we’ve experienced Christ’s forgiveness and healing we are called to go out and share what we have received with others—to bring others to Christ so that they might receive what we’ve received. And isn’t this is what the Church is all about? Those of us who are a part of the Church are not “better” than those who are not. We don’t always live better lives than those outside the Church nor do we have it all together. But what makes us different is Jesus. We have learned that by developing a relationship with Him we can receive forgiveness and healing in our lives. We’ve experienced it and our greatest desire—our deepest passion—is to lead others to Jesus so they can experience it, too.

If you’re looking for a home, a church family, we invite you to join us as we journey together towards spiritual and emotional wholeness.   JRJ
